We have a position open up for Bar Staff for our busier nights between an up and coming beer house and a late night venue in the centre of Levenshulme.

The hours are part time with the possibility of full time as we get closer to the holidays. Must have 1 years minimum bar experience and ideally live in South Manchester or be able to commute easily.

Suitable candidates will be flexible, outgoing, hard working and presentable throughout.

    Job requirements

  • Previous extensive experience in a similar role within the bar industry.
  • Manage staff ensuring adherence to job roles, standards and performance.
  • To be a charismatic, enthusiastic & passionate person
  • A Motivator of staff, able to delegate in order to empower and develop team members.
  • Keen to deliver excellent customer service and maintain a high standard of customer management at all times.
  • Be flexible with shift work, punctual and adopt a hands on approach when required (incl. helping other LPC outlets as requested).
  • Effective ordering and stock monitoring in line with budgets and what is needed.
  • Excellent social media/internet skills (especially twitter, instagram and facebook) are needed and a willingness/competence to ensure that you get our messages out there on a regular basis.
  • To be able to further develop our refreshments and entertainment offering.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and up to date on licensing laws.
  • Communicate effectively with LPC Head Office (most frequently with our HR & Marketing Departments), other LPC Managers and outlets.
  • A keen eye for publicity opportunities to promote both this local Community Public House and other LPC brands and an ability to come up with good ideas for posters etc to promote activities and offer.
  • A willingness to work closely with any pop-up catering partners on site to mutual advantage of LPC and the said partner.
